Cheyenne Roduin, Lake Washington Institute of Technology

"Today our Lake Washington Institute of Technology students, staff and faculty were graced with the humor, wisdom and inspiration offered by Steve Ferreira as he spoke in our campus Library in celebration of Disabilities Awareness Month. Steve presented an amazing snapshot of his life as he explained how he triumphed over his cerebral palsy to become the best he can in everything he does. He demonstrated a fearlessness to his audience that will stay with them for a lifetime. His presentation was captivating and encouraged his listeners to participate and ask questions and incorporated videos and a PowerPoint to help illustrate how he is fully capable of many amazing feats that most of us can only hope to achieve one day. I highly encourage others to invite Steve to speak to their communities and share in the amazing story of his life and the future he is building for himself."

"Olympic College had the privilege of inviting Steve Ferreira to our students, staff, faculty and Administrators Tuesday October 20, 2015 in celebration of ADA 25th Anniversary. The audience was captivated by Steve’s wonderful personal story and his down to earth humorous personality. Steve shared his struggles and celebrations. After the presentation he answered audience’s questions and gathered for a group photo. Audience members learned a great deal through his presentation about cerebral palsy and how to be comfortable and respectful to individuals with visible and invisible disabilities. I would highly recommend Steve Ferreira as a presenter for motivation, inspiration, and disability awareness. Steve would be a great addition to any program your institution has to offer."
